Simply put, NLP is a user manual for your brain
It integrates thought and the nervous system (Neuro),
communication and the power of language (Linguistic)
and the unconscious habits and patterns we run on (Programming)
NLP was originally created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the mid 1970's. They developed a set of techniques by studying very successful therapists, Milton Erickson and Virginia Satir, and incorporated the ideas of Fritz Pearls and Gregory Bateson to create models (or patterns) to help people make incredible shifts in their life. NLP encompasses both a philosophy and cognitive behavioural psychology approach to change.
NLP consists of a number of models of the structure of human subjective experience and then techniques based on those models. NLP is a way of exploring ‘how’ people think, identifying success and then applying these successful actions or beliefs in ways which work. NLP is heavily pragmatic: if a tool works, it's included, even if there's no current theory to back it up. As long as the models do actually work then NLP developers are generally not concerned to "prove" why. Our approach is "pretend it works, try it, and notice the results you get. If you don't get the result you want, try something else."
Sugar NLP courses include coaching and training applications and have a strong humanistic education and therapy focus.
We will give you all the support and encouragement you need to get the most from your training because the changes that can happen may have far reaching benefits which you may not have even begun to imagine yet.
